Baptisms

Baptism is the rite of initiation into the Christian faith. The service of Holy Baptism takes place at services throughout the year except during Lent. Because it is a rite of initiation into a community of faith, baptism is not administered privately at Incarnation.

The Episcopal Church practices infant baptism. We baptize people as babies as a symbol of the free grace of God that comes to all without requiring any action on our part.

If you decide to have your child baptized at Incarnation  the rector will work with you in preparing for your child’s baptism.
